4-5 patate medie
1/2 cipolla media
2 cucchiai di burro
200 g di carne bovina macinata
sale
pepe
noce moscata
3 cucchiai di piselli cotti
1 cucchiaio matcha in polvere
1 uovo sbattuto
farina senza glutine
pan grattato senza glutine

Aggiungete i piselli e mescolare.
Mettere farina, uova e pane grattugiato in 3 diverse ciotole.

ENGLISH VERSION:

Now that my matcha blog event is near to the deadline, it's time for me to post a recipe (HERE all the recipes of the blog event).

And because of matcha is used expecially in sweet preparations, I want to "surprise you with special effects" and propose a savory dish.
The recipe comes from this beautiful book, bought HERE last summer.
And now, before the recipe, a call for foodbloggers: only 3 days to partecipate to MATCHA-RICETTE...send me your recipe!

MATCHA CROQUETTES

INGREDIENTS for 20 croquettes:
4-5 medium potatoes
1/2 medium onion
2 tablespoons butter
200 g hashed beef
salt
pepper
nutmeg
3 tablespoons cooked green peas
1 tablespoon matcha powder
1 egg, beaten
gluten free flour
gluten free bread crumbs
corn oli for deep-frying

Peel and quarter the potatoes and boil in a large pan of water with some salt added.
When cooked, drain and mash the potatoes while still hot.
Set aside.
Finely slice the onion.
Heat the butter in a fry pan and sautè the onion over low heat until tender.
Add the hashed beef and stir vigorously until the meat breaks into strands.
Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, then cook until all the liquid has evaporated.
Add the peas and mix.
Add the beef to the mashed potatoes.
Add the matcha powder and mix, then place in a shallow tray to let it cool.
Divide the mixture into 20 portions and shape into croquettes.
Place the flour, egg and bread crumbs in 3 separate bowls.
Roll each croquette in the flour, dip in egg and coat with bread crumbs.
Heat the oil and deep-fry the croquettes until they become golden brown.

N.B.: the inside of the croquettes was a little soft. Next time I'll add some tablespoons of bread crumbs in the mixture.

Comunque queste polpettine sembrano squisite.
